Jared Tangney, PhD

President & CTO

Biolinq Co-founder with a decade of experience in micro-array sensor research & development. Jared received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego, and was a Business Technology Fellow at the University of California, San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering.

David Arida

COO

Over 22 years of management with established expertise in operations, manufacturing, and business strategy. Former Chief Operating Officer at Cue Health and SVP of Global Manufacturing Operations at Dexcom. David received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell and his MBA from Northwestern – Kellogg School of Management

Naresh Bhavaraj, PhD

SVP, R&D

Over 20 years of experience in medical device R&D, advanced algorithm and systems design, data science, software development, and mobile medical applications. Former VP of engineering & technology at Medtech startup, R&D, and algorithm & systems director at Dexcom. Naresh received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Over 38 years in pioneering medical device technologies with over 100 products launched and more than 300 patents issued as a prolific Medtech inventor. Former VP of R&D leadership roles at Guidant Corp., Arterial Vascular Engineering, Medtronic, Dexcom, and Obalon.

Drew Woodmansee

VP, Legal Affairs & Head of IP

Accomplished IP litigation attorney with 25 years in private practice at global law firms advising clients in the medical device, pharmaceutical, and medical diagnostics sectors. Former Partner at Jones Day and Morrison & Foerster. Drew received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School.

Amy Vandenberg

VP, Regulatory & Clinical Affairs

Accomplished regulatory & clinical development expert with 25 years of experience across multiple therapeutic areas in Diabetes and Obesity. Former Chief Officer of QA, Clinical & Regulatory at Obalon and Director, Regulatory at Dexcom. Amy received her B.S. degree in Biology from Saint Mary’s College of California.

Todd Newhouse

VP, R&D - Sensing Hardware

More than 25 years in R&D leadership with profound glucose sensing experience at Dexcom and sensing hardware development at Rockley Photonics. Todd holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.

Rebecca Gottlieb, PhD

VP, Sensor R&D - Advanced Research

Over 20 years of experience in glucose sensor R&D and advanced technologies, including closed-loop algorithms, analyte sensing, drug delivery, and consumer and hospital-based technologies. Former VP of Research & Technology at Medtronic Diabetes. Rebecca received her Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Brian Kelly, MD

VP, Corporate Development

20 years as a neurologist & intensive care specialist with the US Navy. Decades of experience in informatics and strategic partnerships with global technology leaders in healthcare. Previous President, Payer, and Provider Solutions at IQVIA, Former Head of Informatics, and National Medical Director at Aetna; Executive Partner at Accenture.

David Carner

VP, Quality

30 years of management experience at medical device companies specializing in cardiometabolic health in the role of quality assurance and R&D. Former VP of Quality at Dexcom and held leadership roles at Abbott Vascular, Guidant, St. Jude Medical, Pacesetter. David received his B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Tim Sablotny

Over 24 years of experience in supply chain, strategy, finance, and operations. Former VP Supply Chain at Cue Health and Head of Global Sourcing & Procurement at Dexcom. Tim received his B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue, his M.S. Flight Test Engineering from the USAF Test Pilot School, and his MBA from the University of Michigan.

Chris Dimitropoulos

Chris is Managing Director, Healthcare Investments (Public & Private) at Alpha Wave Global. He serves as a board member across many of Alpha Wave’s private healthcare investments, including therapeutics and medtech companies. Most recently, Chris served as founder and CEO of a biotech company focused on the development of oligonucleotides for CNS disorders. Chris graduated from John Hopkins University with a M.S. in Biotechnology and from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Finance.
